Sidmouth
Sidmouth is a small holiday town and resort on the south coast of Devon. Sidmouth‚ lies on part of Britain’s longest and most popular National Trail - The South West Coast Path.
Take a short stroll out on the cliff tops and you can find your own piece of this special coastline. The Path is well-signed and easy to follow. Picturesque harbours‚ dramatic Beer Head‚ tranquil estuaries‚ and secret coves you'll discover for yourself.
The town attracts visitors of all ages and is not too big to be daunting, and is mainly flat, so access is easy all over. The Esplanade runs along the sea front. Most of Sidmmouth's best hotels are situated there. At the end of the Esplanade lies the beautiful Connaught Gardens and the magnificent Jacobs Ladder, which leads to the clock tower tea rooms where you can sit and relax and look out to sea.
There are plenty of good shops, take away food places, great pubs, with entertainment. There's plenty to do, all year round. Sidmouth also has a Theatre and Cinema.
